Hot knives weed

I was struck with a fun idea for this comparison – the super-duper low tech and cost method of vaping that I first tried before anything else: Hot Knifes o n an electric burner!

For those of you who don’t know about this method and are reading about it for the first time on Urban Dictionary – this is one of the more dangerous ways of ingesting cannabis.

I don’t recommend it but it’s definitely worth reading about. It consists of heating a butterknife or equivalent and using THAT as your nail… Definitely not the best experience. Dab consumption technology has come a long way!

I also got struck with a fun idea for this comparison – the super-duper low tech and cost method of vaping that I first tried before anything else: Hot Knifes o n an electric burner!

Honestly, this low score should not come as a surprise to anyone. Sticking a sharp piece of steel in between the sections of an electric burner and then dabbing off of it is rather dangerous and I do not recommend that anyone tries it. It feels like a Trailer Park Boys moment.

oShockingly, when the steel is allowed to cool enough, the flavor was not too bad. All the strong primary terpenes came through clear – limonene in all three concentrates was easily discernible. The more subtle notes gets lost, but the average cannabis consumer isn’t likely concerned with secondary and tertiary mouthfeel from dabs.

While I only get one true dab, this is to be expected with the rudimentary technology. The Lemon Walker hash rosin was particularly good on the blade and didn’t create a runny mess like with the Acapulco Gold live resin or the Panda Focus isolate.

But before anyone reading this article thinks of trying it out for yourself, let me give you one last warning: It’s a very harsh hit and clearly not all metals are safe for dabbing. …And I think it’s safe to say that NO pointy kitchen knives are generally good to handle when you’re consuming.
