The Simpsons’ Marge and Homer go head to head as they start dealing weed

The latest chapter of The Simpsons sees Marge and Homer become legal weed dealers. Yep, really.

The 17th episode of season 31, titled Highway To Well, begins with a network warning stating that adult topics lay ahead, so of course, the stoner jokes aren’t far behind.

It all kicks off with Marge, who has a lot of time on her hands now she’s able to leave Maggie on her own, and when she spots a bunch of people lining up for a job, she stands with them.

Unknowingly joining the queue to land a position with a legal cannabis dispensary named the Well+Good store, the bosses are straight away convinced Marge’s the ideal employee and they delete all the other applications.

Marge starts working at the store despite not being able to figure out what exactly she is selling, but happily puts familiar faces in touch with ointments and edibles to help with their ailments.

Meanwhile, Homer, Moe, and Lenny get a license to sell cannabinoids and the crew become dealers.

However, their new business isn’t completely plain-sailing and it’s not long, before Marge and Homer end up in a full-blown drug war.

Kevin Smith plays himself in this episode, with Pose’s Billy Porter voicing Desmond and Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Chelsea Peretti starring as Lauren, and it’s pretty epic.

That new weed episode of The Simpsons this past Sunday was great. Lenny was the low-key MVP of the episode. It’s also great to see Otto coming back more lately after being forgotten for so many years. #TheSimpsons
